Higher Ground is Nigh

55,000 square feet of farmland, just a mile from downtown Boston. The birds and the bees and the lettuce and squash will be flying high above the harbor when Higher Ground Farm, in development for a couple of years now, officially opens for business this spring! Make no mistake though – the first major rooftop garden in the city is no cautious introductory endeavor – it’s reportedly the second largest in the world, perched atop the Boston Design Center in Seaport.

Courtney Hennessy and John Stoddard have big dreams for Higher Ground, which will sell organic veggies on-site, to local restaurants, and through a farm share, starting this spring.

Get excited.
